GRUBBS INFINITI TO AWARD FREE CARS TO LOCAL STUDENT AND TEACHER FOR ACADEMIC AND TEACHING EXCELLENCE

Drive2Excellence Announce

Giving back has always been the passion and foundation of family-owned and operated Grubbs Infiniti in Grapevine. And, for the second year in a row, Owner and General Manager George Grubbs III has encouraged better grades in DFW schools by giving away an Infiniti vehicle for a year to a deserving student and teacher on Friday, May 29th at Carroll High School Football and Track Field.

Drive2Excellence Encourages Better Grades and Better Teachers

Working with Shawn Duhon, Principal of Carroll Senior High School, Grubbs Infiniti created Drive2Excellence in 2014 to encourage students to work harder in school and achieve better grades.  “Of course, we gave them a great incentive… a brand new Infiniti to drive for a year” said Grubbs.  “We wanted to make sure the students knew that we were serious about supporting them and their education.  We know we have amazing vehicles and being able to reward a student with a new car is something we’re really proud to do at Grubbs Infiniti.”  This year, Grubbs Infiniti decided to also give away an Infiniti to a worthy teacher.  “The program was such a success last year, we wanted to include teachers and encourage their attendance with the same incentive.  Being able to bless a local teacher has been such an exciting addition to this program.”  Students and teachers received tickets based on their academic achievements, attendance and performances.  Duhon was pleased that striving for excellence in school gave his students and teachers something exciting to win like a new car from Grubbs Infiniti or one of 20 new computers donated by Dell Computers.

The event and giveaway is scheduled for Friday, May 29th from 11am-12pm(CT) at Carroll High School Football and Track Field.
