Keep It Local

Grubbs Infiniti Keep It Local

Recently, one of our customers had just finished up with her paperwork and wanted to take her new #Q50 somewhere close for a good lunch.  We all started chiming in on our local favorites and she laughed and said, “Well, you guys sure do know a lot about what’s good in the metroplex.”

I take great pride in her statement.  I’m a Texas boy, born and raised.  I love Texas, love the metroplex and I believe in this community.  As a locally owned and operated business, I believe it’s our responsibility to support and encourage other local companies that choose to call DFW home.  That’s why, whenever possible, I shop and eat local.

Breakfast is one of my favorite meals and my family makes regular trips to Burger Shack in Southlake.  Pancakes, waffles, French-toast, omelets… everything is big and always delicious.  My favorite upscale restaurant is Bob’s Steak and Chop house in Grapevine.  General Manager, Monte Morris knows great service and not only has a well-run place but always takes good care of all his customers.  All I can say is get a steak.  Seriously.

Our favorite date place is Winewood Grill.  Great ambiance and same great service as any upscale restaurant.  We always get the Tenderloin Bruschetta for an appetizer and the Chilean Sea-bass.  And of course they have a great wine selection.

Speaking of wine, our favorite place to buy wine is El Wine Chateau in Keller.  Owner, Ruben Reynoso, knows more about wine than anyone I have ever met and in addition to his knowledge to help pick out that perfect bottle, his specialty is his pricing where most bottles are around $20.

If you haven’t been to the Bishop Arts District, you’re missing out on some amazing restaurants and stores that are worthy of your time and support.  From art to bikes, furniture, clothing and one of a kind gifts, this is one of the best examples of a community that is plugged in and committed to the metroplex.  And, it doesn’t hurt that some of the best pies you’ve ever tried are waiting for you at #EmporiumPies.  The “Lord of the Pies” may change your life.

These are just a handful of some of the local places I love and if you want to share some of yours, feel free to comment on this post below.  I’m sure my staff will chime in with the best burgers, barbecue and other Texas tastes that they enjoy.  And that’s what I love about working at #GrubbsInfiniti.  We’re local and we love Texas.  We want your family to feel comfortable and welcome when you visit.  We will work harder to earn and keep your business.  And, we will happily recommend some good food anytime you ask.
