Grubbs Infiniti Grand Opening

Grubbs Infiniti Wine Bottles

Grubbs Infiniti rolled out the red carpet on Tuesday, May 5th for their Grand Opening Celebration.  The new location, which officially opened it’s doors on March 9th, makes the new Grubbs Infiniti the largest Infiniti dealership in the world.

George Grubbs Junior was excited to show off the new showroom and facility.  “The new Grubbs Infiniti will redefine what customers will expect from a premium experience.  We’ve surrounded our amazing cars with equally amazing technology, art and architecture.  Every detail was carefully considered to optimize their enjoyment.”

During the Grand Opening Celebration guests were treated to delectable food from City Kitchen, a D/FW catering company focused on innovative and imaginative cuisine.  Bronwen Weber of Frosted Art Bakery and star of the Food Network’s Cake Challenges created a stunning replica of the new dealership in cake.  Along with fine wine, a special drink was served: the Grubbs “Infiniti-tini” using American Harvest Organic Vodka

“The event was such a huge success.  Everywhere I turned, people were smiling, laughing, eating and enjoying the evening”, said George Grubbs III.  The Grubbs family made sure that every area in the dealership featured something special.  Live music from a classic ensemble greeted guests in the main showroom and a lively jazz band kept it festive in the shop and service bay.  Guests were also invited to take pictures with the Infiniti Red Bull Formula 1 Race Car that they could share on social media.  Both father and son agreed that the evening was spectacular and made a lasting impression on their guests.  George Grubbs Junior said, “Every time someone walked into the new dealership they always had the same expression of surprise and awe.”

From the beginning the Grubbs family knew that the Grapevine area would be an ideal location for the new Flagship Infiniti dealership.  “I looked at where the majority of my customers live and knew Grapevine would be the perfect home for our new store”, says George Grubbs III.   The new dealership is 75,000 square feet on part of 16 acres of land at State Highway 114 and Texas Trail, next to DFW Airport. “The new Grubbs Infiniti marks a whole new era for the Grubbs family and for our customers. We want them to feel like they’re experiencing something completely unique. We listened carefully to our customers and because we’ve developed excellent relationships, we had a crystal clear vision of what they want and expect from the Grubbs Family name” said Grubbs. The new luxury facility features a Customer Cafe with catered snacks, lunches and desserts made fresh everyday plus 6 VIP Lounges with free WIFI, fountain drinks and gourmet coffee.

Grubbs Infiniti is the new home for luxury in Dallas/Ft Worth.

Infiniti’s Lane Departure System

Infiniti's Lane Departure System

As the Owner/General Manager of Grubbs Infiniti, it gives me a lot of pride to see our friends and neighbors drive off in one of our amazing vehicles like the Q50, the QX80 or the QX60. Not only do they look good, but they do good things for you on the road.

I’m talking about Infiniti’s Lane Departure Prevention System and it’s making the automotive world sit up and take notice. This technology is truly an industry first as it senses unintended lane drift and automatically helps you return your Infiniti to the center of the traveling lane.

Think about that. We all want to be safe drivers and be aware of everything that’s happening on the road around us. But, ask any parent who’s had a juice cup tossed by a toddler that lands around your feet… sometimes you look away, even if it’s a second or two. And, in that moment, it’s easier than you think to drift outside the lines. With the Infiniti Lane Departure Prevention system, that moment can be corrected with a warning or even braking by your car. This is from a company committed to you and your family’s safety.

Infiniti’s Lane Departure Prevention System uses a camera to monitor the distance between the vehicle and the lane markings. If the vehicle drifts, the system signals a warning and can even selectively apply the brakes to help keep your vehicle in its lane.

That means that if your eyes stray to look for that errant juice cup or other little distractions, you’ve basically got your vehicle’s “eyes” keeping an eye on you and your family. Combine that with our Predictive Forward Collision Warning and Direct Adaptive Steering…well, the road is a lot safer when you’re behind the wheel of an Infiniti from Grubbs Infiniti.

Just beware those juice cups.

Grubbs Infiniti and Carter Blood Care

I recently had someone ask me why Grubbs Infiniti hosts Carter Blood Care every month to encourage our staff and community to donate blood. Growing up, most of my injuries were handled with bandaids and hugs. Thankfully, I never needed someone’s blood to save my life. But, when I was in college, a close friend and fraternity brother had a family member that needed blood from being in an accident and he encouraged me to donate. I remember thinking that if something happened to me, I would hope there would be people who cared enough to give something so important to save my life. So I donated blood that day and it became a part of my routine as I got older. It’s important to know that you don’t need a special reason to give blood. You just need your own reason. It could be because you were asked by a friend or family member. You might know someone who will need blood someday. It might just be because you know it’s the right thing to do. Whatever the reason, the need is constant and your contribution is important for a healthy and reliable blood supply.

The blood you donate is used in the treatment of accident victims, to replace blood lost during surgery, to treat burn victims, and to increase the blood’s oxygen-carrying capacity. The Dallas/Ft Worth area needs about 1,100 blood donors a day to meet our community’s need. It’s easy and takes just a few minutes. And, even if you can’t donate blood yourself, you can always encourage friends, family and co-workers to visit their local Carter Blood Care center or a drive like the one we hold here at Grubbs Infiniti. For me, it’s a way to be a part of something great and I am proud to add some of my A+ to the greater good.

To find the nearest donor center, visit www.CarterBloodCare.org. Or keep watching us on Facebook and we’ll invite you to our next blood drive. Remember, roll up your sleeves and give!
